Coming back to Milan made me realise just the impressive amount of bicycles this city has. I guess it's a good thing, people going around being green. I have to admit a lot of them look very hipsterish; specially young people with those weird looking bikes and different coloured wheels with their moustaches and transparent glass raybans (you ain't foolin no-one). But it's not just about that here, here you see old people on bikes going around carrying their supermarket bags, women with their dogs in a basket. It is more about culture than fashion. That doesn't mean the bicycles have to be ugly. Italian bikes are a model even, a way of making bags, a classic style. People abroad pay tons of money for bikes you can buy here used for change and fix for a small amount. It's pleasant to see nice old bikes going around the city. That doesn't mean I wouldn't like a mexican BMX instead, lol, but you catch my drift...
